This is one of my go-to weekend looks whenever I want to step it up a bit and where a casual chic ‘fit that doesn’t involve wearing jeans. I love this jacquard print midi skirt I picked up at Old Navy several weeks ago for a few reasons:

(1) The black-and-white print makes it super easy to rock with bolder colors (think: yellow, cobalt blue, orange and hot pink).

(2) The midi-length doesn’t inch up — even when you’re walking — unlike you’re traditional pencil skirt.

(3) There’s an elastic waistband, instead of a hidden zipper. I prefer this on bodycon-esque skirts, because it’s way more comfortable to wear (and eat in).
