What to Wear to Work When It’s Cold Outside

If your city was hit by the blizzard of 2016 (like mine was) then waking up and putting together an office-friendly look that’s equal parts stylish and weather-appropriate is that much harder this week. The key to looking stylish and staying warm during your work commute in cold temps is layering. The more you can comfortably pile on the better.

A longline coat and thick blanket scarf are clutch. A midi-length sweater dress with a roomier fit that doesn’t cling to your body paired with opaque tights and knee-high boots in a sturdy fabric will help to better shield your exposed legs. Throw on some fingerless gloves that convert into mittens (for easy smartphone access) and a cable knit hat to finish off the look.

Here’s a layered up work ‘fit that will help keep you warm without sacrificing any style points:

Where to shop: Coat | Gloves | Sweater Dress | Belt | Opaque Tights | Scarf | Tall Boots | Pom Hat

Keep it stylish,
