The contents of my makeup bag stay pretty much the same throughout the four seasons, but fall (my favorite season) usually inspires a few tweaks to my routine.
Here are five products I am coveting — loosely based on fall trends — as the warm weather turns cool:
1. Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayon in Brandy, $24
I love experimenting with deeper lip colors in the fall. This wine-colored lip crayon caught my eye because of its rich, matte color — something that Bite Beauty does really well.
Eyeliner is probably the most difficult part of my beauty routine, but I love how my eyes look when I get it right. Per Refinery29, colored eyeliner is a fun way to put a fall twist on this beauty staple. And at less than 5 bucks, I can stock up on Rimmel’s liner to play with unexpected shades like green, blue and purple.
3. RGB Nail Color in Seal, $18
If I could afford to buy all of RGB’s line I would. This strikes a perfect balance between its smooth brown hue and on-trend metallic sheen, though you can achieve a more classic look by applying an extra coat.
This eyeshadow is infused with the same coconut water base as my favorite blush. And with rich versions of classic shades from bronze to emerald, it’s a great way to try fall’s metallic trend.
5. Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream, $95
This is the biggest splurge of the bunch. I’ve been hearing about this cream all summer and decided to treat myself. I’ve been alternating RMS Beauty’s raw coconut cream with One Love Organics Skin Savior beauty balm to moisturize my face, but now that winter is ahead, I’ll be looking to this indulgent cream to keep my face hydrated at night. Given the price point, this isn’t something I’ll be using daily, but it feels luxurious to have in my beauty regimen — and the gorgeous jar adds an unexpected flair to my vanity.
