I’ve been ogling the lookbook for Altuzarra for Target collection for the last couple of days — and am beyond impressed. The wish list has been made and budget set for my must-have items (spending freeze be damned — well, just on Sept. 14 when the line launches). It’s a 50 piece collection ranging in price from $17.99 to $89.99 and includes clothing and accessories. The line will be available in-store, as well as on Target.com and net-a-porter.com.
Joseph Altuzarra, who launched his namesake high-end line in 2008, says he focuses on a “very adult and seductive way of dressing” no matter the age when designing his clothes. Check out the video clip below where he explains the inspiration behind the Target collaboration:
Of all the designer/mass retail collabs to have dropped as of late, this one looks like it’s going to be the chic-est (there are so many dress separates to mix and match) and most reasonably priced in terms of item type. Don’t believe me? There’s a black full-length long-sleeve dress with a high slit, floral detail, cinched waist, and deep V-neckline that you could easily rock during the holiday party season for just $70. And then there’s a jacquard print pencil skirt for only $34.99 *fans self*.
