Luxe Life vs. Real Life: Brush Stroke Print

One of my favorite things about spring and summer fashion is the prints. I’m a print girl — the bigger the bolder the better. So one of my favorite collections for the warm weather season came from none other than Celine. Those classic silhouettes, the mix of neutral and bright colors and sophisticated prints with a touch of whimsy.

Their brush stroke print appeared on a some body-hugging tanks, a couple of t-shirt dresses and a show-stopping yellow and blue shawl collar jacket — and I absolutely love it. It evokes a pop art vibe without being too kitschy.

While making the rounds virtually to my favorite online shops this weekend, I found this Printed Top over at Zara.com. The print is nearly identical to Celine’s, but at $70 you won’t have to toss a coin on whether you’ll pay a bill this month or go shopping.. The top is cropped, which makes it perfect for pairing with a high-waisted pencil skirt or trouser pants.

Keep it stylish,
