‘Nail’ These Spring Polish Trends

Spring is finally here! It’s probably time to put away my vampy nail polish and paint on something less severe. Here are five vibrant color picks for spring:

Purple: As Glamour notes, Orchid purple is a great color for spring and it’s one you can wear now. Try Essie in Under Where? ($8.50). Want something more vibrant? Try Bette by Julep ($14).

Orange: The citrus hue isn’t just for lips. I’m obsessed with Harriet, a creamy coral color from Julep ($14). Or take it up a notch with Butter London’s electric Jaffa ($15).

Yellow: This muted yellow from Burberry is kind of a splurge at $21, but it’s a pretty take on a typically loud shade. Want to turn it up? Try Zoya nail polish in Darcy, a bright lemon color ($9).

Green: You can try a pale green like UO Basics Collection Nail Polish in Left Bank ($5). Or go for something a little more vivacious with RGB’s Peacock ($18).

Blue: Achieve an ethereal nail look with RGB’s Cerulean or take advice from the experts at Pantone, who ruled this deeper blue spring’s official color. Julep captures it with Monaco ($14).

Budget-friendly tip: I almost always end up with a splatter-y mess when I try to do my own manis. But weekly trips to the salon just aren’t in the cards for me. I recently discovered Liquid Palisade ($22), which acts a painter’s tape for your nails. The stuff works. You can even use it to create designs like this striped coral masterpiece.

Stay beautiful,
