What I Bought: Getting Ready for Spring

This winter has been brutal and I’m beyond snowover it (see what I did there?). So, my fashion purchases over the last few weeks definitely have warmer weather in mind. Strappy open-toe heels, vibrant prints and bold jewelry — yes, please!

What I Bought: Getting Ready for Spring

1. Pencil Skirt in Multi-Stripe, paid $51 with discount promo code (originally $65.87), asos.com: There’s a very mod vibe with this skirt and that’s what drew me too it. The high-waist and below-the-knee length make it great for work (just add a blazer), but you can totally rock this on the weekend with some fierce sandals, a flirty camisole and without a jacket.

2. & 3.ย Peter Pilotto for Target Sweatshirt in Light Blue Floral/Stripe Print, $29.99, target.com |Peter Pilotto for Target Pencil Skirt in Light Blue Floral/Check Print, $34.99, target.com: I mean what’s not to love about this fashion-forward duo? Peter Pilotto. Prints. Oh my! This could be worn as set or broken up as separates. I’ve already got a date night look in mind featuring the skirt and this fab pair of heels.

4. Mandee Lace Up Heels, $69.95, solesociety.com: I’m officially obsessed with Sole Society — and ย can’t believe it’s taken me this long to discover the site. Loads of cute (and trendy) shoe styles. Oh, and did I mention shippping is *always* free? You can thank me later. I was looking for a pump that would look great with the ASOS skirt and also work with other pieces already in my closet (think: jeans, full skirts and track pants). Can’t wait for the first 70 degree day, because I’m taking these cuties for a spin.

5. Buckle Bangle Bracelet, paid $14 with site discount, (originally $28), baublebar.com: There’s something very dainty and feminine about this bangle that I adore. It’s perfect for layering with other chunkier bracelets or cuffs. But be careful about wearing it with tops that have bulky long sleeves, because the clasp can come easilyย undone. I’d recommend wearing it with short or 3/4-length sleeve tops to prevent this from happening.

Keep it stylish,

Andrea, S&P Founder and Editor
