The Stylish Vote: Jamie Chung, Beyonce, Emmy Rossum

These starlets hit the town in some girly looks perfect for a springtime soiree: Jamie Chung kept her look ladylike with a twist by rocking a white crop top and matching midi skirt with a studded BCBG Max Azria motorcycle jacket and taupe T-strap pumps at the launch for Brancott Estate Flight Song.

No matter what Beyonce wears she manages to look f-l-y. The singer wore a black-and-white striped Topshop minidress with black stilettos during some downtime from her world tour. Emmy Rossum hit up the SXSW premiere of “Before I Disappear” in a black-and-white Andrew Gn body con dress with sparkly ankle strap sandals.

**UPDATE** This poll is closed. Beyonce is the Stylin’ Chick of the Week.

The Look for Less: Jennifer Hudson

The Look for Less: Jennifer Hudson

Oscar-winning actress and singer Jennifer Hudson has been killing the red carpet lately. Her hair (absolutely love the pixie cut), makeup and clothing are always so perfectly coordinated. No matter if she’s showing a little skin or all covered up, Jennifer manages to pull together a fashion-forward look in a very classy way.

Spotted a few days ago at the We Day UK charity event in London (looking super snatched, btw), J.Hud showed up in an outfit that was equal parts classy and sultry — it had a very old school glam vibe. The starlet rocked a long black overcoat with an asymmetric shawl collar, a white blouse, a black-and-white midi-length polka dot trumpet skirt by Dolce & Gabbana (which retails for $995), and some red stilletos.

This is the type of look you could easily wear to work and then transition into evening  with a change of jacket and shoe. In addition to the office, it’s perfect a date night or just drinks with the girls.

Check out our budget-friendly redux of J.Hud’s stylish look — all for about $200:

The Stylish Vote: Lupita Nyong’o, Naomie Harris, Paula Patton

Three gorgeous girls in three distinct (and stunning) looks: Lupita Nyong’o spiced things up in a printed body-con Jonathan Cohen dress and red stilettos at an event for the 2014 Film Independent Spirit Awards.

Naomie Harris look for the 2014 NAACP Image Awards was effortlessly glam. The actress wore a sleeveless, champagne Valentino gown with a plunging neckline and full skirt. Also making an appearance at the Spirit Awards, Paula Patton and her canary yellow Lorena Sabu mini-dress with lace overlay were a match made in  fashion heaven.

**UPDATE** This poll is closed. Naomie Harris is the Stylin’ Chick of the Week.

Oscars 2014: The Best and Worst Dressed

Hollywood’s big names put on their Sunday’s best and hit the red carpet last night at the Dolby Theatre for the 86th annual Academy Awards. And with spring less than a month away, the big color trends ranged from chic neutrals to pretty pastels with a few deeper tones sprinkled in. Another trend for the night included gowns with lots of drama (think: flowy and billowy) instead of the more form-fitting numbers we’re used to seeing make their way down the Oscars red carpet.

Of course, several celebs stood out from the rest (two words: Lupita Nyong’o — oh, and Olivia Wilde does red carpet maternity style like no other). Here’s a round-up of our best- and worst-dressed picks of the night:

Best Dressed: Lupita Nyong’o, Camila Alves and Amy Adams
