Fur is a major, MAJOR trend this fall/winter season — from stoles to jackets to cold-weather accessories — it’s everywhere.
Perhaps the most popular of the fur phenomenon is the fur vest (be it real or faux). Diane von Furstenberg’s Mongolian Fur Vest that hits mid-thigh is absolutely swoon-worthy. It’s shaggy, comes in a neutral gray tone (i.e., you can wear it with practically everything) and just downright chic. But priced on sale for $465, it’s a bit too pricey for most budget fashionistas.
While perusing one of our fave online shopping sites, Piperlime.com, we spotted a similar vest by Sabine that comes in at a cost-friendly $75.97. It’s a bit short than the DVF version hitting at the waist, but is just as shaggy and fabulous. Wear it with your skinny jeans, pencil skirts, winter shorts and trouser pants without having to go on a three-month spending freeze.
