Wedge heels are back in a major way this season. And these wedge booties from designer Isabel Toledo‘s collaboration with Payless Shoe Source mix edgy flair with a touch of high-fashion. The fabric on the upper portion of the shoe is shantung with ruching detail, peep-toe and a cut-out heel.

These shoes would look great with a weekend casual look — denim cut-off shorts and a crisp white blouse. Or try them on with a  solid bright colored mini-sundress — perhaps in cobalt blue or hot pink.

Draping looks good on almost any body type — from curvy to slender. And these three ladies pulled it off in style. Janet Jackson showed us why she’s a legendary trendsetter, rocking a dark green, draped shirt with a deep purple, full-length skirt and a royal blue skinny belt — it’s color-blocking with autumnal hues — to the amfAR Cinema Against AIDS gala in Antibes, France.

Solange Knowles knows how to do boho chic. The singer wore a beautifully draped, white dress with a thigh-high slit while DJing at the Range Rover Evoque Live event in New York City. Zoe Saldana made the rounds at the Cannes Film Festival dressed to kill. The actress posed on the red carpet at the premiere of “The Tree of Life,” dressed in a sleeveless, red and white full-length gown with a bit of draping at the hip.
