Obsessed With Accessories: Scarves

28 Feb

Scarves are one of those accessories that can be very multi-functional — and a wardrobe essential no matter the season. Not only do they keep you warm during the colder months, but they also add an extra layer of glam to your look. And if you’re creative enough, a scarf can even be worn as a top.  This makes them ideal to help you transition from winter to spring.

Check out our round-up of stylish scarves in lightweight fabrics and fun prints — from animal to nautical-insprired, all for under $40.

The Stylish Vote: Kerry Washington, June Ambrose, Yaya DaCosta

22 Feb

Winter just doesn’t seem to want to go away, but these celebrities prove that you don’t have to wait until spring to introduce pops of color into your wardrobe.

Actress Kerry Washington rocked an electric blue, boatneck shift dress by Calvin Klein and black ankle-strap platform heels while making the NYFW rounds. Celebrity stylist June Ambrose rocked a bright red lip with her black and green plaid skirt suit and YSL pumps while at an event in New York City. And “America’s Next Top Model” alum Yaya DaCosta looked cute in a sleeveless, printed mini-dress with metallic shades of blue, silver and bronze by Christian Cota, black tights and satin pumps.

**UPDATE** This poll is now closed. Yaya DaCosta is the Stylin’ Chick of the Week.
