From office parties to cocktails with friends, the rules for what to wear during the holiday season can be tricky. Today’s post is from guest blogger and friend of S&P, SingLikeSassy. She’ll be offering fashion tips to the full-figured fashionistas that like to style on a budget.
Full-figured and Fabulous for all the Festivities
The holidays are upon us and with all the parties and the new year to ring in, some of us more voluptuous ladies are thinking about what we can wear and how to look our marvelous selves, without having to skimp on Christmas gift purchases.
Have no fear ladies, I’ve got some stylish ideas for you:
Lane Bryant is always tried and true, so you know they got you, right?
This little black velvet number is foxy! And at $69. 50, it’s a steal.
Target is always a go-to spot for cheap and fashionable finds. Treat yourself to the Mossimo Black Ruffle Dress for $29.99. At that price, you might as well pick up the Mossimo Black Jacquard Dress and get your Audrey Hepburn look on.

Mossimo Swing Tank and Sequined Skirt, Target.com
If you just want to work in a new piece with some slacks or a top from your existing wardrobe, Target thought about you, too.
Try this red swing tank for $19.99 and sequined trimmed satin skirt for $24.99. You can mix and match them with your old favorites to create a chic look.
For those of you who like to show off some curves, IGIGI.com has the Georgia Two-in-One dress on sale for $78.
Finally, for the shonuff divas trying to make him put a ring on it, Ashley Stewart has this black halter link dress for $59. Don’t get in trouble in this one!
These selections should help get you started. Other places you can go to for cute plus-sized clothes at reasonable prices are Kiyonna.com, Torrid.com and OldNavy.com.
And remember ladies, wear the right foundations, put on a smile, play up your best attributes (cleavage, legs, eyes etc.) and have fun. Happy Holidays!
